That said, it is full of recommendations to plant INVASIVE plants like Autumn and Russian Olive, English Ivy, Virginia Creeper, Tree of Heaven /5(66). Full disclosure: I was a contributor to this book and am mentioned in the Acknowledgements right before Chet Flippo because the names were alphabetically listed.

With that said, this is obviously a seminal work of the 20th Century but could have been improved by using even more of the far-out lists by Joe Enright/5. Gardening with small perennials offers so many creative options.
